Looking to adopt a pet and give a rescue pet a loving home?
Our pet adoption process is designed to be simple, transparent, and focused on finding the right match for both pets and adopters.
Follow the steps below to learn how to adopt a pet from our rescue.
Step 1
View Pets Available for Adoption
Browse our list of pets available for adoption online or visit us in person. Each pet profile includes photos, age, breed (if known), temperament, energy level, and special care needs to help you find the perfect companion.
Tip: If you don’t see the right pet today, check back often—new rescue pets become available regularly.
Step 2
Complete a Pet Adoption Application
Applying does not obligate you to adopt—it simply starts the conversation.
Once you’ve found a pet you’re interested in, submit an Adoption Form. This form helps us understand your lifestyle, home environment, and experience with pets so we can make the best match possible.
Step 3
Application Review & Approval
Our adoption team carefully reviews each pet adoption application. We may contact you by phone or email to ask follow-up questions or request additional information. Most applications are reviewed within one week.
Step 4
Meet and Greet with the Pet
If approved, we’ll schedule a meet-and-greet so you can spend time with the pet you’re interested in adopting. This step helps ensure compatibility and comfort for both you and the pet.
- Family members may be asked to attend.
- Current pets may be required to meet the adoptable pet.
Step 5
Adoption Fee & Paperwork
If the meet-and-greet is successful, we’ll finalize your pet adoption. An adoption fee is required and helps cover the cost of rescue care.
Pet adoption fees typically include:
- Spay or neuter surgery
- Vaccinations
- Microchipping
- Veterinary exam and preventative care
Step 6
Take Your Adopted Pet Home
Once paperwork is complete, your new pet can go home! We’ll provide guidance on feeding, training, and transitioning your adopted pet into their new environment.
